Is there a way to get rid of scars from picking zits and pimples?

This year I've had problems with zits and such, and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of scars from picking zits and pimples.

I don't think they can go away by themselves, but I could be wrong. I have scars, too, but I found out how to make a honey mask and it really helps.
