Hi. I have like a million zits and its so annoying. My Registration/ picture day is the 23 of August. I need to have a clear face by then. I would also like to keep up with having clear skin. So if you can help that would be great! Thank you so much!Whats a good way to get rid of zits before school starts?
Tempting as it is, don't try to pop the pimple by squeezing, pinching, or picking at it. This will just inflame the pore and spread the oils that caused the pimple.
Apply ice to the area for 2 minutes every half hour. This will help shrink the pimple and possibly reduce it to an invisible size.
Apply a flesh-tinted acne medication that contains benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or sulfur. Since these medications dry out the skin, apply only to the pimple area.
If you'd like, use an oil-free powder to cover up the medicated area and reduce any shine.
If the pimple is already coming to a head and it's too late to use the ice treatment, use heat. Wash the area with soap and water. Apply a hot, damp compress to the pimple for 60 seconds. This increases circulation and helps bring the pimple to a head. Remove the compress and apply gentle pressure to drain the pimple; do not squeeze. If the pimple does not drain, reapply heat and try again. Do not force the pimple to drain. Wash the area with soap and water after pimple drains.
here are some kitchen spot treatment:
鈥? Cut a clove of garlic in half and, no kidding, dab on your pimple once or twice a day. Garlic kills bacteria and also kills pimples.
鈥? Mix a teaspoon of red wine vinegar into a cup of water, and dab on spot blemishes, but not on open pimples.
鈥? Place a thin slice of potato on the pimple at bedtime, secure it with a Band-Aid, and remove it in the morning
鈥? Cover a blemish with a dab of honey, place a Band-Aid over it, and it will be gone by morning.
goodluckWhats a good way to get rid of zits before school starts?
The products you are using, are they salycic acid or benzolyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Almost all washes have it. They try finding a face lotion with it in it. Clean and clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face. I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working!
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salysic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying fo rme! Good luck
Wash yourself with soap and water regularly. It works.
Go buy Acne free read all the directions and stick to it.
Drink a lot of water
don't touch your face
and take vitamins a e and c and zinc orally
Use a shampoo for oily hair
Stick to the regime twice a day and remember it could break out worse before it starts to get much better.
Get on a facial cleasining plan now.,,and by the time school starts you should be fine
Hi, it sounds to me that you have more than mild acne. I strongly recommend that you go see a dermatologist. They can assess your skin type and suggest products that will work for you. Prescription strength is a lot more potent than some of the products you can buy over the counter. I don't know if in like 20 days your skin can get clear if it's this bad, but you'll be well on your way to clear skin. Acne usually doesn't just ';go away';--you need to treat it.
With that said, in the meantime, while you wait to get to the derm, make sure to only buy products that say ';non-comedogenic';--won't clog pores--and buy specific regiments to treat acne. Be patient and don't pick at your face, nothing works immediately. Spot treat with products like Oxy 5%, designed to dry out zits. Try using a zinc/clay mask 1-2x a week on top of any skin regimen you choose. I've heard Proactiv works for some, you could try that, but keep in mind that it is no stronger than anything you can buy at the drugstore.
hey i Know how U feel.. my friend has the current problem and even i was but held it under control. have you checked out the neutrogena products... they have a range of proucts just for spots, blackhead and zits. they are really greeat and a spot can disappear in 3 days with these products check their site : www.neutrogena.com
Try buying acnefree at wal-mart like the other poster said. It is the cheapest most effective thing you can do in a short amount of time. Going to a dermotalogist can be expensive and take time to get in with an appointment.
wash your face twice a day with a good cleanser and try using a toner to get the deep down dirt that can lead to breakouts. also, can't stress this enough but drink plenty of WATER everyday, it makes a huge difference.
Go to a dermatologist.
Well sometimes if you eat lots of salt and sugar pimples/zits get worse. So watch what you eat. Wash your face morning and night everyday using a bar of soap or something like neutrogena. Face masks and steamers get rid of them to. Just dont let your face get oily. So hope everything goes good!
use stridex
Try getting a facewash system that is designed for acne like proactive, or its cheaper but extremely effective copy Acne Free. Personally I use Acne free because you can get it at Wal-Mart for $19 verses $40 or so for proactive.
Also look at some Clearasil products, many are designed to work extremely fast.
you could use use sea breeze every night and then after you use it put lotion of your face that should help....
pick up this months issue of seventeen magazine. They give you a plan for all this month that is amazing! It should work wonders!
