How can i get rid of the redness in the zits?

i used toothpast and the 1st time it worked like a charm then i tried it on a nother zit and it made it REALLY red... if i put ice on how long and should there be a thin material inbetween it??i have lemon juice and yogurt how do you put it together?How can i get rid of the redness in the zits?
just see a doctor, trust me it may be a little cringey at the time but you'll thank yourself.





or buy some clearasil spot treatment or something... home remedies are usually urban myths.

Tooth paste is like the worst thing ever. Have you noticed after you use toothpaste on a pimple the pimple might look a little less worse but the area around the pimple is all dried and your makeup looks peely and caked on?? Gross I did it once and will never do it again.... The best thing to do for a red pimple is to 1. leave it alone and 2. milk actualy helps sooth the redness...also if you have have plain oatmeal you can make a paste with water and apply that to the pimple...don't let it dry out though.....You can also try a foundation primer like smash box in the green hue because green counteracts with red..I'll send you a link....
I've heard that aftershave dabbed on zits can help them go away. Also, there is a cream from Mary Kay that is for acne. I think the main ingredient in these anti-acne creams is benzoyl peroxide.
Old school trick: eye drops such as Clear Eyes or Visine. It constricts the teeny blood vessels in your eyes (or skin in this case) which subsequently reduces the redness. It also reduces the swelling.
Try visene (spelling?) the eye drops. They will reduce redness. I also would skip the lemon juice, that could cause skin irritation.

crush up an asprin and put some lemon juice in it then mix it together and put it on the zit overnight. it works pretty well
To be honest, the best thing that you can possibly do for zits is put ProActive on them. I got that stuff and it was amazing!! My skin is almost perfect now!! :)
put toothpaste on it overnight. works like a charm and dries out the zit so it goes away faster
