proactive--for concealer go to the MAC store at the mall and they give you the best one for your skin type and color. Mine is the only one that works for me. lately for stubborn zits I use naturopathica mass extract. It is very expensive for a tiny canister but it works and lasts long. I have had mine over a year and it is still half full. I don't follow the directions. I put it on the zit and leave it there overnight or all day long if I am going out.What are some good tips and treatments for getting rid of zits?

I use ProActiv. It works really well. So well I'm to the point of not having to use cover up. It's great stuff.
Take Zinc Gluconate, it is a form of Zinc that fights acne from the inside. Also, if you workout, or sweat,,, make sure you have a gentle facewash (a small bottle) on you, and a little towel, so you can gently wash your face after sweating.





Also, a little sun can help, a lot of sun can hurt the skin
Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are great for zits. If you don't have all over acne, then spot treatments are probably best. Other then that, wash your face twice daily, use a gentle scrub once a week to de-clog pores, and use a light moisturizer twice a day to shield your skin.

Aspirin mask helps dry up pimples.





Crush 8-10 regular aspirin (not Tyenol or ibuprofen!)


Add a few drops of hot water to make a paste.


Spread of the face and let it dry about 10-30 mins.


Wash off with a warm moist washcloth.





This will not only dry up pimples/acne but smooth the face.

I've found that not putting anything too strong on my skin helps it clear up faster!





i used to use clearasil's 10% benzoyl peroxide stop treatment every night and woke up with a irritated face!


now when i break out, i use OXY brand daily face wash, which is %10 benzoyl peroxide. next time you go to target or walmart, check out the ';arctic chill'; version -- it leaves your skin feeling SO clean and cool!


if i'm not really broken out, i use target brand blackhead clearing scrub, which was like $3 and works better than any scrub i've ever used!





i never put any sort of cream on my face at night except sometimes a light moisturizer, so my skin can breathe.





in the morning, i wash my face then apply i.d.'s bare vitamins skin rever-upper, which contains salicylic and glycolic acid to clear up your skin without being too harsh. it's about $21 for a little pump, but it lasts for a super long time, then apply a normal moisturizer.





when it comes to cover up, try clinique. i mix their skin clarifying foundation with their dewy anti-aging foundation and LOVE it! you're killing two birds with one stone : breakouts and wrinkles. it ends up covering up really well and lasts all day without feeling or looking cakey or heavy. i know that the clarifying foundation is $19, but i'm not sure how much the anti-aging one is. check it out!

To cover up get concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone, and foundation that matches your skin tone. Dust on a little bronzer and your good to go.

One way is to go to Wal-mart and get something that says clearasil daily acne control.If you wash your face before you wipe your face down with with the pad's it works really good on your skin.
