Everyone says there is an ingredient in toothpaste that helps zits go away! But WHAT is it and why haven't they/or have they made a product with that ingredients. Or is it more than one!?

I have another question. I have this zit [embarrassing to say that!] and yes i put toothpaste on it last night but it kind of hurt and burned. But anyway it's kind of dry. Anyways to get rid of it?What's the ingredient in toothpaste that makes zits smaller or gets rid of them?
I left tooth paste on my face overnight (for a zit), and it literally burned a hole in my skin! :P Not cool. I would recommend being very careful with using toothpaste. What's the ingredient in toothpaste that makes zits smaller or gets rid of them?
it takes all the oil out of the zit so that the zit will go away faster.
it's not an ingredient it is because tooth paste drys your skin, and that will dry up the zit
i think it's the triclosan
try tea tree oil it works for me
Total guess, but flouride? It is very anti bacterial
